History of YWL
Jenna Druck not only loved life, she embraced it with every fiber of her being. Jenna was selected as San Diego’s Young Woman Entrepreneur when she was only nine. She spoke before adult audiences at age 14, co-founded a leadership camp for high school students and was a Presidents Leadership Institute Scholar at age 18. As president of her Pi Beta Phi sorority chapter, she won the National Spirit Award. Her potential was unlimited and her dedication was fierce. Jenna believed in and spoke of “Strength of Heart”, a combination of courage, compassion, and determination.
The genesis of the Young Women’s Leadership Program and the Annual Spirit of Leadership Conference was the high school leadership camp Jenna created and led with her friend Pilar. The Foundation’s Young Women’s Leadership Program strives to instill Jenna’s “Strength of Heart” and extend her love of leadership to all young women.
The Jenna Druck Foundation was established as a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization in 1996 to honor the spirit Jenna Druck exemplified during her 21 years. Learn more about The Jenna Druck Foundation.
